How to Use Lean Data Practices to Build Trust with Customers

Lean Data Practices (LDP) is a flexible framework that anyone handling personal data can use to build in privacy, security, and transparency in ways that can build trust and reduce risk. This talk is a follow up to the November 2020 LDP presentation to dive deeper into the methodology, specifically how to apply it from the product management and development lens. We will discuss how to implement the various LDP tips provided, including additional applications for the ones previously shared in the November 2020 session (available at

About the speaker: Nneka Soyinka is the Privacy Program Manager at Mozilla. She is responsible for privacy program operations and privacy compliance, including privacy education, vendor reviews, data subject access requests, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure privacy is incorporated in a meaningful way aligned with Mozilla’s privacy principles.
