Rajasthan is losing its camel which is its state animal. The only option for saing it by creating value chains for camel raw materials so as to provide economic incentives for its traditional breeders. Cheese has emerged as one of the most viable options.

This session will provide the background for the sad situation of camels in Rajasthan, talk about the global hype around camel milk as a superfood and why cheese has emerged as one of the most promising avenues for reviving Rajasthan’s amazing Raika camel culture.
