Hello all,
Computer science! And applying CS to daily work. I am sure Swanand, the pro, also has some war stories and what has failed in either production or has turned out to be a painful legacy. :)
I was thinking that we could discuss some of our SQL war stories, failures that seem like facepalm in retrospect and anti-patterns - yes, anti-patterns! Will be nice to share some of these in the comments, to shape our SQL war stories session, planned for 29 September, and to see what kind of takeaways we want fo ourselves from such a discussion.
Post your thoughts and comments, and also feel free to nominate yourself as someone who wants to facilitate or share in this session - https://hasgeek.com/rootconf/just-enough-sql-to-be-effective/comments And feel free to rope in folks who could share their inputs, practitioners mainly!
Look forward to a fun chat, as we plan this session collectively.
