From Image Chaos to Control: Introducing AVM (Agentic Vulnerability Management)

Submitted May 4, 2026

Session Description
At Acceldata, managing container image sprawl, addressing vulnerabilities, and maintaining compliance across scaling cloud-native environments became a complex and fragmented challenge. To solve this, we built AVM (Agentic Vulnerability Management) - an enterprise-grade platform designed to centralize and secure container image management. By acting as a unified control plane for container security, AVM transforms security from a reactive bottleneck into an automated, collaborative workflow.

Designed specifically for DevOps, platform, and development teams, AVM enables continuous vulnerability scanning, policy-driven governance and automated remediation via custom AI agents developed solely for vulnerability tracking and fixing. It automates the entire image lifecycle - from discovery and analysis to fix and promotion - ensuring that only secure, compliant, and pre-approved images reach production. By integrating security natively into the deployment workflow, AVM significantly reduces operational overhead while simultaneously boosting developer velocity and strengthening your overall security posture.

Key Takeaways

  • Security as a Platform Primitive (Secure-by-Default): Learn how platform teams can easily provision trusted, pre-approved base images, establishing a robust and uncompromising security baseline across all Kubernetes environments.

  • Drastically Reduced DevOps Overhead: Discover how to effectively automate vulnerability scanning, strict policy enforcement, and seamless image promotion to minimize manual toil and operational complexity.

Target Audience
This session is highly beneficial for:

  • DevOps Engineers and Site Reliability Engineers (SREs)
  • Platform Engineering Teams
  • Release Management Teams
  • Cloud Security Practitioners
