🌐 About Platform Engineering meet-ups

Platform engineering is one of the fastest-growing disciplines in technology—and Bangalore is at the center of this shift.

Launched in November 2025, these meet-ups happen once every two months and bring together practitioners building and operating platforms at scale.

This is a space for:

  • real-world stories
  • hard-earned lessons
  • systems that have actually been tested in production

🧑 ⚖️ Curated by

  • Bharadwaj Embar — Engineering Manager, Nutanix
  • Talina Shrotriya — Senior Engineering Manager, Couchbase
  • Vivek Pemavat — Principal Engineer, Acceldata

💡 What we’re looking for

We invite case studies and experience reports across:

  • Platform foundations: Kubernetes, ECS, Nomad, VMs, hybrid models
  • AI/ML workloads on platforms: pipelines, GPU management, scaling infra
  • Provisioning & lifecycle management at scale
  • Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs): adoption, impact, lessons
  • Platform as a product: developer adoption, success metrics
  • Reliability & observability as capabilities
  • Cost efficiency & FinOps
  • Security by design

👉 Strong preference for real systems, real trade-offs, and real outcomes.

🎤 Format

Each meet-up features:

  • 1 in-depth talk (30–40 mins)
  • 2–3 demos / flash talks (10 mins each)
