Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) serves as the vendor-neutral home for many of the fastest-growing projects on GitHub, including Kubernetes, Prometheus and Envoy, fostering collaboration between the industry’s top developers, end users, and vendors. Lots of companies and individuals are building very useful open-source cloud native projects for themselves or for their customers. But sometimes it becomes difficult to find more users/adopters for those projects due to limited network or to manage and fund them.
CNCF can provide home to such projects by making them avaialble to larger audiencne, help them grow and sustain. There have many success stories in the recent past. In this session we would like to cover the process to taking a home brew project to CNCF by taking example of OpenEBS project.
