Good Enough Design™ for Responsive Web Apps

Designing and developing responsive web is still a mystery for many team. Through this workshop you should be able to create a good enough design system and a custom front-end patterns for you web app that works across devices of any screensize - small (phones), medium (tablets), large (desktop) and more (TV). Through smart choices we can speed up the design phase and through a living style guide speed up the development. With the living style guide maintain and scale your web app with out breaking your teams brains. All this will help you to spend the energy – wasted on fights between your development and design teams – on productive things.

The workshop is going to be conducted by Saneef Ansari and Brajeshwar Oinam.

  1. How to crack the core of responsive web app through the Information Design?
    • Priority List
    • Container Model
    • Creating User Flows
  2. How to create the interface design patterns for the responsive Web App?
    • Typographic Defaults
    • Modular Design Patterns
  3. How to streamline the communication between the designers, developers and others using Living Style Guides?
    • Intorduction to create and maintaining a Living Style Guide such as Fractal or Pattern Lab

Speaker bio

Saneef is an information and product designer. Before working with Alaris Prime, he ran an agency in Bangalore that helped a number of local startups to design their products and services. He is a graduate of the National Institute of Design (NID), Bangalore. He has previously worked with renowned design agency iA, Zürich.
