Abstract

Educate about the support of modern web technologies like WebRTC on mobile phones and the power of embedded communications in your website or webapp.

Outline

Your mobile phone is likely to already support technology that makes real-time communication embedable into your web-app and with modern open-source libraries it is easier then ever. We’re going to explore some of the scenarios in which communication helps your use-case and UX and how to get it into your app.

Requirements

Basic understanding of JavaScript and HTML and how the web works.

Thomas is coding the webs for 16 years, organizer of JSConf.Asia, UX mentor at JFDI.Asia and chief troublemaker at webtech startup Temasys in Singapore.
