10 things which will influence front-end development in 2014
The objective of this talk is to cover different obscure techniques and tips of front-end development workflow (viz. design, development, optimization, performance, testing, deployment).
Some of the objectives are:
- Using your editor effectively
- Stop doing things manually, automate it!
- Learn to love your workflow
- Finish your work faster and get home early!
While working on front-end development in the last couple of years, we came across many obscure tips and techniques. So, we thought of sharing our findings with you guys.
Great strides have been made in how we approach our development workflow, use abstractions, appreciate code quality, optimize performance etc.. If you’ve been busy or haven’t had the time to catch up on these latest trends, then don’t worry, we will take you through some of the cool ones.
For example, Chrome Developer Tool has evolved a lot recently. Like better support for mobile debugging, small handy shortcuts (like
H to hide the currently selected element in the Elements tab). To know more cool things like these, come attend our talk!
