Webassembly & Javascript: Building fast-er web applications

Submitted Sep 1, 2019

The session is meant for users to take advantage of webassembly with browser as a virtual machine. The final goal would be to achieve fast, performant web applications.
I would be presenting a use case where the web application has become faster after integrating webassembly.

Outline

  • What is webassembly
  • How to generate byte code
  • A use case; to showcase how webassembly can make web applications faster.

Speaker bio

Having integrated webassembly, into our dashboards webapp, we realised the power of running high-level languages in parallel with javascript. And I feel this should be showcased to the web developers community so people can leverage the new technologies as and when needed.
