This NPD Report proposes a detailed and comprehensive regime for the sharing of non-personal data, including regulation of privately held non-personal data, unlike existing and proposed regimes in other jurisdictions. Among the many novel recommendations in the NPD Report is the proposal to grant community rights over non- personal data.
