Podcasting 201: A checklist for creating your own podcast

Submitted Dec 21, 2015

Podcasting is still nascent in India. I’ll walk you through you can set up a podcast of your own.

Outline

Podcasting is still nascent in India. Last year I talked about what a podcast is. This year, I’ll walk you through you can set up a podcast of your own - from topic, presentation, voice to editing, production and finally releasing it to the world. Plus tips on what you can listen to.

Requirements

You won’t need these AT TGP, but in life you should have a computer, the internet, a handheld recorder, familiarity with MS Office, and then a copy of Audacity to edit your audio.

Speaker bio

I’m an independent radio producer and one of the earliest podcasters in India. I make intelligent radio content and I’m trying to tell your ears, there is life beyond FM, there is more for your brain to ponder than bollywood and cricket.
