STORIES SPACES MEMORIES

Submitted Jan 11, 2016

“Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?”
― J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

To explore the various forms of expressions for using space as a medium of storytelling.

Outline

Stories have been a constant source of fascination to us since childhood. They open a window to a parallel world which takes shape and form in our imagination. This transformation from a narrative to our perception of space around it is unique and intangible. It is greatly influenced by our experiences and memories. This hands on interactive workshop seeks to connect the dots to derive a more tangible expression as a process. It aims at exploring the relationship between stories, spaces and memories.

Requirements

Writing and drawing material, camera( mobile cameras will do ) optional, newspapers, magazines, glue; lots of energy and imagination!
