Platform engineering is one of the fastest-growing disciplines in technology. Bangalore - with its unicorns, SaaS scale-ups, fintech disruptors, and big tech -is the perfect stage for these conversations.

Starting November 2025 and continuing every two months (next: January 2026), Rootconf is hosting Platform Engineering meet-ups. These are community spaces for practitioners to share real-world stories, outcomes, and lessons learned in building and scaling platforms.

💡 What we’re looking for

We invite case studies, and experience reports in areas such as:

  • Platform foundations: Kubernetes, ECS, Nomad, VMs, hybrid models
  • AI/ML workloads on platforms: pipelines, GPU management, scaling infra
  • Provisioning & lifecycle management at scale
  • Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs): adoption, impact, lessons
  • Platform as a product: developer adoption, success metrics
  • Reliability & observability as capabilities
  • Cost efficiency & FinOps
  • Security by design

👉 Note: Vendors are welcome to showcase tools and solutions as sponsored sessions. Vendor pitches will be curated by the editorial team to ensure technical depth and community value.

🎤 Format

Each meet-up will feature:

  1. One in-depth talk (30-40 mins)
  2. 2–3 demos/flash talks (10 mins each)
