Abstract

Observability is a key component of resilient and dependable systems. Working with clients like HDFC Bank, Amazon Pay, Zomato - We can’t imagine running blind.

What I believe is there can not be a “One Stop Solution for Observability”.
We are a multi-cloud, multi-product company. It is easy to lose visibility in such a vast tech landscape.

We will cover the philosophy behind the change in how we saw Observability @ IDfy. How it led to creation of a structured instrumentation approach. Finally, we’ll explore our observability pipelines - built on open source tools.

Key Takeaways

  • Significance of observability in high-scale environments.
  • Learn how Instrumentation Driven Development can transform your development and debugging processes.
  • Understand the design of a structured instrumentation framework.
  • Discover how we built our observability pipelines using the open source tools.

Audience

  • Software Engineers and Developers
  • DevOps Engineers and SREs
  • Engineering Leaders and CTOs
