FreeCharge has witnessed massive, unparalled and nearly exponential growth over last one year. During this time frame FreeCharge came to be recognized as one of the best designed products across all channels - Desktop, App and Mobile Web. Scaling the tech stack to handle this massive growth and improve product experience at the same time has been quite a challenging and rewarding experience. This session is a time warped journey of FreeCharge over this chaotic period. I will talk about how we grappeled with new scale challenges almost every week; compromises we had to make; stories from the trenches and the learnings we got out along the way.

I head payments and recharge infrastructure engineering team at FreeCharge. I’ve been a part of the journey that involved dramaticly improved customer experience and maniacal growth over the last 2.5 years.
