Help people leverage on APIs provided by Cloud service providers (accessible using Fog), Chef and Robocop, to build scalable, robust and self healing infrastructure.

Outline

The session will introduce APIs provided by configuration management system called Chef, monitoring solution called Robocop along with Fog. We’ll also see, how one can make use of monit We’ll be looking at few tools which can ease the pain of building a large scalable, robust and self healing infrastructure. These tools can be built using the APIs and customized to meet with requirements of different organizations.

Speaker bio

I’ve worn several hats during my career in Industry for past 11 years. Practicing devops since last 5+ years and currently authoring a book on Chef. I love to help people build their infrastructure [ obviously at a price ;) ]
