Attendee will be able to understand the basic principle behind monitoring, it need and what to monitor.

Outline

The demo will consist of an explanation about the need of monitoring. How to setup a simple monitoring system and tips on how to scale your monitoring system for large scale deployments.

Aditya Patawari is a Linux System Administrator at Directi Internet Solutions. He is a also Fedora Contributor and Ambassador. He usually talks about Puppet and Metrics collection at various conferences and events. He has written several articles in the past about monitoring tools and has contributed significantly to the monitoring used by Directi.
