Make your servers sing using MCollective

Submitted May 11, 2012

Leverage modern communication/transport paradigms for better, more organic command & control over your servers.

Outline

SSH as transport for controlling a large number of servers is not ideal. MCollective is a complete framework for managing your servers using modern concepts around messaging like pubsub and direct request/reply with a completely pluggable architecture.

Speaker bio

Currently a sysad at Directi, this is the kind of stuff I thrive on, and was one of the first users/adopters of mcollective.
