Submitted Mar 12, 2017

The intended audience for this talk will primarily be women of all ages interested in understanding body mechanics and nutrition. It will cover strength training and nutrition. Women shy away from exploring the full gamut of fitness and nutrition for various reasons. A lot of women are either ill informed or not fully aware of the routines and diets they take on. This leads to a tremendous amount of frustration since many women do not achieve the results they hope to. This conversation aims to help women understand that nutrition and fitness go hand-in-hand. The talk will address how losing weight is not just about doing cardio and a calorific deficit. It will detail how the body works in excellent synchronicity when fueled the right way.

Speaker bio

I am a professor and researcher with a passion to question established dogma about nutrition. My primary areas of focus are fitness, questioning and finding answers to fitness and nutrition dogma, and empowering women to manage diet and nutrition on their own.

I believe an honest, direct, and supportive system enables anyone to learn and reach their health and fitness goals. I believe in empowering women enough to so they can manage the program on their own. I hand hold in the begining, but enables my clients to improvise, experiment and eventually become independent in how they manage their fitness goals.
The information is out there. I am only a curator. The power lies in your hands. Go grab it!
