Building a real world data related project is only half(?) the fun. An equally large half is in knowing how it is running, and attending to issues. Without observability and operations, any data project is dead on arrival. So what are people doing to keep an eye on their data pipelines? How to tame a rogue agent? When to pull the plug on an LLM that will eat all your tokens? Can you use AI to fix problems created by AI? Join the Observability BoF at Fifth Elephant to discuss all this and more. You will meet people with ideas, expertise, war stories and also helpless shrugs 🤷
Personas needed at this BoF:
- People actively doing Data Ops and AI Ops (at least two people)
- One engineering manager or director who is involved in budgeting and cross team collaborations
- Developer(s) involved in building data infra products
- Developer(s) involved in building LLM based products
- (Optional) Someone representing a vendor: Grafana, Nutanix, Last9 etc
