Outline

Build performance-critical portions of your apps in native code using android NDK.
In this session I will be discussing on creating and porting NDK based Android Apps on to a tablet. I will walk through step-by-step process to demonstrate the process of creating the NDK based App start-to-finish. I will also discuss simple process made available by NDK toolset to port existing NDK based Android Apps to any target device.

Speaker bio

I have 16 years of industry experience that spans across telecom, datacom and mobile technologies. In mobile technology, I have worked on Location Based Services Frameworks, NFC & WiFi stack for Symbian, S40 and Android platforms. In my 16 years of career, I have worked in different roles of SW engineer, tech lead, SW development manager, senior manager and program manager. Currently, at Intel,I am a Senior program manager for Android in APAC region handling and owning Android application enabling vision and roadmap.
