Showcasing and educating about the capabilities of the mandolin in music performance.

Outline

Anand Lobo will be playing an assortment of songs to show what the mandolin is capable of. If guitarist Joy Dawson is available for the session, he can help to demonstrate the versatility of the mandolin/guitar duet.

An open mind.

Speaker bio

Anand Lobo plays the mandolin and viola semi-professionally, along with Joy Dawson, a classical guitarist.

Anand had had formal music education in violin and viola, which aided in teaching himself the mandolin.
Joy Dawson is a completely self-taught musician.
