Using Chrome Browser to Talk to Arduino with JS

Submitted Jul 22, 2013

Attendees will learn the basics of Arduino and how it works. They will then learn how to communicate with an Arduino board using the Chrome Serial API.

Outline

Did you want to learn how to control a custom LED light, create a home automation system, or Nerf missile tracking system? Well others all started those projects using Arduino. Arduino allows you to build custom electronic projects very easy. What better way to control the Arduino systems you build then using your browser. The Chrome Serial API allows just for that, come learn how this all works in this session.

Requirements

Basic understanding of JavaScript and Chrome apps.
