Getting started with Firefox OS and Open Web Apps

Learning how to developed an Open Web App and add it to Firefox OS.

Outline

Aimed at existing web developers to either take your existing HTML5 solutions - or start from scratch - and build Open Web Apps that are installable on Firefox OS. A number of WebAPIs and possibilities on that platform will be covered which you can optionally use to create a richer experience with your apps.

We’ll also talk about the Firefox Marketplace, and different ways of making your apps installable.

He’s a strong believer in HTML5 and the Open Web and has been working since 1999 with Front End development for the web - in Sweden and in New York City.
