To learn how to build a web application using EmberJS with RequireJS for modularising the code and Q for managing asynchrony

Outline

In this workshop, we will build a simple web application using EmberJS. The focus will be on how to write clean and modular JavaScript code using RequireJS (AMD) and how to avoid callback hell using promises (Q)

Requirements

Laptop (Preferably Mac/Linux)
Any text editor you are comfortable with

I am a JavaScript enthusiast from ThoughtWorks, Bangalore. I play around with various JavaScript frameworks. I have hands on experience on SproutCore, Backbone, AngularJS and Ember.js.

I am currently working on a mobile application which uses Ember.js, RequireJS and Q.
