To Create effective , single page web applications using EmberJS

Outline

This Talk will cover EmberJS concepts , its model , view , controller , and templates.
I will be covering its router in more detail.
How Easy does EmberJS apps integrate with rails.
I will also talk about the latest ember-testing package and how to write effective integrations tests using which are way faster and stable than existing traditional selenium tests.
In the end we will be covering the best practices learnt from working on EmberJs project for past 6 months.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of Javascript.

Suchit Puri ,an alumnus from BITS Pilani and currently working as a application developer at Thoughtworks is an agilist and ardent follower of XP best practices like TDD, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration and continuous deployments. He has worked for clients ranging from small startups to big MNC’s ; getting involved during project inceptions/client management, juggling many hats; doing analysis, coding, deployments and automation during a project’s life-cycle.
He has also been doing consulting on Agile Adoption , TDD ,CI.
