JSFoo is an event on building apps with JavaScript. This is an event on what it takes to build full size apps with JavaScript, whether in the frontend or backend.

This event is now over. It was on October 1, 2011, in Bangalore.

Sessions were 45 minutes each. The venue was Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram again, in the Christ University campus at Dairy Circle.

Learn to visualize data in JavaScript using various JS frameworks.

Outline

Web/HTML5/JS is the new frontier for data visualizers. There are frameworks like JQuery, JS3D, ProcessingJS, WebGL etc which could be used to design beautiful visualizations.

This session introduces to above frameworks. Depending on the availability of time we can code a demo visualization live.

Requirements

Knowledge of Javascript/HTML
Laptop with HTML5 capable browser if you want to try something on your own
