Why speak at The Fifth Elephant 2025 Annual Conference

The Fifth Elephant is a space for practitioners to share technical insights, real-world lessons, and emerging ideas in data, AI, and infrastructure.

400+ attendes from BFSI, Fintech, e-commerce, mobility, health-tech, fashion and lifestyle, manufacturing, and infrastructure and tooling organizations attend The Fifth Elephant Annual Conference.

As a speaker, you have a fantastic opportunity to showcase your work before a highly engaged audience and benefit from:

  1. Connecting with peers who share your challenges
  2. Sparking conversations that outlast the talk itself
  3. Elevating your ideas and your work in the larger community

Speakers from organizations such as Atlassian, Google, Zomato, GalaxyEye Space, United We Care, Dream11, Jiostar (formerly Hotstar), Flipkart, E6Data, Onehouse, Zupee, Ozonetel, Swecha, and others have presented their work at previous editions of The Fifth Elephant Annual Conference.

Call for proposals for The Fifth Elephant 2025 Annual Conference

Are you building bold systems, wrangling scale, or deploying AI in the wild?

The Fifth Elephant 2025 Annual Conference is looking for practitioners, engineers, and researchers with stories from the trenches - whether you’re refining MLOps, building agentic AI workflows, or pressure-testing infra at scale.

The Fifth Elephant 2025 Annual Conference is open for submissions. If you’ve shipped something hard, broken things and learned, or just have strong opinions and battle scars - we want to hear from you. Proposals don’t need to be polished. Just bring a clear idea, a real-world perspective, and a story worth sharing.

Submit your proposal here.

Who should submit

We welcome engineers, researchers, architects, and PMs working at the intersection of data, AI, and infrastructure. If you’re scaling pipelines, deploying ML in production, designing agentic systems, or building next-gen visual AI - this stage is yours.

We’re looking for talks grounded in experience - what worked, what didn’t, and why it matters. You don’t need to be a pro speaker - just someone with real insight and the willingness to share.

Submission tracks

🧱 Data & ML Infrastructure

For the architects and engineers building the platforms that power modern AI. Curated by Sandeep Joshi and Pramod Biligiri, this track is all about the systems that move, store, and process data at scale - whether for training models, running analytics, or just making the dashboards load on time.

What belongs here:

  1. Data lakes, warehouses, lakehouses - bring them all
  2. ETL/ELT pipelines - batch, streaming, hybrid
  3. From training to inference: how evolving ML workloads are reshaping infra, hardware, and applications
  4. MLOps, feature stores, and model deployment infra
  5. Observability, governance, lineage, and access controls
  6. Cloud-native architectures and cost-aware infra decisions

⚙️ Applied AI engineering - with focus on Agentic AI

This is where AI gets practical - and powerful. Whether you’re building LLM-based applications, creating agentic workflows, or engineering systems that think and act, this track is about what it takes to make AI work in the real world. With track curators Vedang Manerikar and Harshad Saykhedkar at the helm, expect a strong emphasis on Agentic AI: where models don’t just answer - they decide, act, and collaborate.

What belongs here:

  1. Architectures and tools for LLM-based applications
  2. Autonomous agents with planning, memory, and tool use
  3. Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and workflow chaining
  4. Human-in-the-loop systems and UX for AI
  5. Multi-agent orchestration and real-world deployment stories
  6. Monitoring, safety, reliability, and post-deployment learning

👁️ Visual AI

Seeing is believing - and also parsing, segmenting, tracking, generating. Curated by Sidharth Ramachandran, this track is for anyone working on AI that interacts with the visual world. From computer vision in manufacturing to generative video pipelines, this is where we explore how machines understand and create imagery.

What belongs here:

  1. Image/video generation (text-to-image/video, 3D synthesis)
  2. Computer vision for safety, industrial, and consumer use
  3. Real-time analytics, scene understanding, digital twins
  4. Photogrammetry, AR/VR, and spatial computing
  5. Evaluation, quality control, bias, and ethics in visual AI
