Objective

To teach beginners & regular users how to select right charts & visualizations based on the user needs.

Description

We are now seeing a flurry of bad charts, poor visualizations and incoherent visual analysis, all due to easy availability of data & tools to create charts (visualizations). In this session, we focus on the basic principles that help you choose correct chart based on the needs of your users.

Chandoo (Purna Duggirala) has been writing & training people on Microsoft Excel, effective visual communication since 2009. He has received prestigious MVP award from Microsoft for years 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012. He runs one of the most popular Excel websites at Chandoo.org with more than 40,000 active members.

Chandoo has an MBA from IIM Indore & Computer Science B. Tech from Andhra University.
