How to build beautiful and engaging HTML5 visualizations using d3.js and Knoema Data API.

Outline

The tutorial will begin with a brief introduction to d3.js and knoema data api. I will demonstrate building of beautiful visualizations like treemap, funnel chart, dorling cartogram using d3.js on top of knoema data api. Last part of the session will be reserved for Q&A.

Requirements

Basic understanding of SVG and HTML DOM manipulation using Javascript.

Speaker bio

Amritayan Nayak is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur. He is currently working with Knoema. At Knoema, he has built the core visualization platform and analytics backend from ground up.
