Discovering great Android apps is a pain. It’s even more painful to suggest a list of great apps to your friends. Appfolio, developed during Droidcon 2013 hackday, tries to solve it.
Appfolio is an Android app that enables you to pick great apps which you use, and generate a sharable link. This link which looks like http://appfolio.me/<name> will have the list of apps with a direct link to the Play Store. The web page is fully responsive, so, can be easily consumed on a mobile browser. Soon you can create custom lists like http://appfolio.me/<name>/sports which lists all your favorite sports apps.
Anenth has experience is developing mobile apps across all platforms. His favorite platform is Android :) After exploring cross platform app development (Phonegap and Titanium) for few months, he is now convinced that “native” is the way forward. He is a Co-founder of Ideophone, a startup that develops mobile and web apps for Travelers. His twitter handle is @anenth.
