Android is basically a Unit-Test hostile framework, and people find it difficult to write tests. However, we have a couple of approaches which let you do TDD on Android in a reasonably satisfactory way.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of Android Development including Activities, Services, etc.
Any knowledge of the Android Testing Framework is a bonus.

Speaker bio

Abhinav is an Application Developer at ThoughtWorks and has worked on various native and hybrid mobile technologies and specializes in Android development. As a part of ThoughtWorks he has been involved in teams that deliver products used by millions of end-users.

Before joining ThoughtWorks he founded XStudio Technologies - a startup that worked on publishing Android applications, and published apps that have more than a million downloads.

A graduate of Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Abhinav likes reading and cycling in his free time.
