To discuss Android source code architecture and some basic customization.
With the open nature of Android, customizations are commonplace. Especially the developer community is generally interested in putting their own small hacks into the platform itself. These custom images maybe used on personal phones (very dangerous), or developers would even want to use them as custom emulators.
With this workshop I will try to discuss Android build system and source code structure. I will demo some basic customization like adding default installed application, adding some methods in the well known classes.
Projector, Internet Connection or WiFi.
I am Akshay Deo, CTO and co-founder of RainingClouds. We have launched our first product AppSurfer (http://appsurfer.com), which allows Android applications to run on web browsers. I work on core technology of AppSurfer, which involves Android source code customization, Android app development.
Before starting RainingClouds, I was Product Engineer at SunGard. I used to work on a product which is based on Multidimensional Databases.
