Hello there! I’d like to launch my book “Couchsurfing Diaries” which is a crowdsourced book on Couchsurfing stories around the globe.

I am an avid traveller and have backpacked across Europe and India. I’d like to share thoughts about my journey and adventures.

This session is to propose a better understanding of the two online concepts Couchsurfing and Workaway. Couch surfing is a site that encourages travellers to connect with each other. A traveller can use this network and request to stay at the home of a resident of the country he is travelling to for free.

Work away is a site that encourages travel and work. It is a community of people who require helping hands across the globe and would take care of stay and food expenses in exhange for some handy work.

These experiences are rich in constructive connections, mutual trust and learning. I’d like to share this awareness.

The objective of this is to spread awareness of these concepts and make them understand the value of travel, connections, communities, culture and learning through experience.
