It will have an introductory talk by the founder(s) followed by a quick hands on machines to tinker with for half an hour, concluding with a barbeque in the backyard under a tamarind tree!

Speaker bio

Anupama Prakash, Co-Founder/Chief Creative Officer is academically trained in the arts and management. For over six years has administered the Arts Education Programme for India foundation for the Arts. As Programme Head liaised with an International Funding agency and the Government of Karnataka for pioneering an arts based initiative, funding government school teachers to develop and execute important and interesting work in the field of arts under ‘culture and development’ of Goethe Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan. As one interested in school education, has initiated a student-centred, alternate school in the two-tier city of Shivamogga. She also spearheaded the development of a Maths Activity Centre for schools called NumberNagar as then Director of Brains for Science and technology Aided Reforms in Society.
