Research in fairness, transparency and accountability of machine learning has to catch up with innovations taking in AI space. Add to this, lack of awareness in the industry. In this BOF session, we will talk about the state of AI Ethics and Privacy, how to regulate it and how it is going to affect innovations in future.

Speaker bio

Suchana Seth works on AI Ethics and Responsible ML. She is currently fellow at Harvard university.
Jyoti Panday is researcher and policy analyst who works on politics and ethics of Internet governance and the management of digital platforms.
Chris Stucchio is a former physicist, high frequency trader and software developer. He’s currently the head of data science at Simpl.
