Does your graphic story have a ‘creative headline’ that can grab reader’s attention, builds curiosity to deep dive into the data story?
Given a thought, there have always been scope to craft headlines, chart titles that are creative, unique, refreshing and becomes an important entry point for the readers to read the graphical piece.
Apart from creating custom visualizations, aesthetically appealing layouts, equal attention should be given in crafting out of the box story titles, moving away from the standard titles. At times, witty or a humorous headline also can bring interest to otherwise what maybe a regular read.
In this session, I will talk about the importance of graphic headlines, walk through some of the examples of titles that blends into the visual elements and how it can create a recognition value for the readers.
