What: A play performance of Contractions, originally by Mike Bartlett about the dark side of data on employees being exploited for corporate gain. Adapted by group Kahe Vidushak to include themes of AI and chatbots. Potentially the use of an AI chatbot along with the actor within the performance, making it a unique show using AI on stage. (The full play of 90 mins has been performed at Rangashankara multiple times, while the AI element is currently in development. We are open to discussing a version that would work for the conference.)
Relevance: Showing the human cost of what data can do, and how far it can go to exploit employees in the workforce.
