Sulekhan 2021: Celebrating Indian Calligraphy

Typography Society of India presents “Sulekhan 2021” to celebrate Indian Calligraphy on the occassion of World Calligraphy Day, in online mode, to be held on 11th August 2021 from 4.00 PM to 7.30 PM IST. The program will be streamed live on YouTube and Facebook also. Attendees will get a chance to interact with the panelists during the panel discussion. More details on https://sulekhanbharat.org/.
This event, will be inaugurated by Master Calligrapher Achyut Palav, followed by Keynote address by Parameshwara Raju. This online event will also feature talks and deminstrations by four eminent Calligraphers: Achyut Palav, Narayana Bhattathiri, Inku Kumar and Dilbag Singh, followed by a panel discussion on Calligraphy and Education. Two short films on Calligraphy will be premiered during this event.
The program is organised by a committee led by Prof G.V. Sreekumar comprising of Narayana Bhattathiri, George K. Paul, Hiral Bhagat, Dilbag Singh and Prajwal Xavier.
