Multimedia campaigns for social good

Submitted Jan 13, 2016

Using examples and case studies, this talk will demonstrate the power of the multimedia to drive social action

How do we leverage the power of the media to drive action? How do we get people to stand up and take notice of the pressing problems of our time? What are some of the innovative ways in which multimedia including video, social media and on ground action can work in synergy to create change? Using popular case studies from the presenters personal experience as Multimedia Producer for non profit Breakthrough that works on challenging violence against women, this talk will look at current tools at our disposal to drive culture change.
