Who should attend

This workshop is relevant for operations’ engineers and security engineers who want to learn how to do incident reporting. The workshop will also help participants to understand some of the AWS tools available for complying with the CERT-In directives which were issued by Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) in April 2022.

Workshop contents

This workshop is conducted by the AWS security team. It will cover the following key threat domains:

  1. Identity Management
  2. Compliance
  3. Threat Detection
  4. Log Analytics
  5. Incident Response
  6. Forensics

Participants will learn about the following AWS Services to manage the threat vectors:

  1. AWS Security Hub
  2. Amazon GuardDuty
  3. AWS Config
  4. Amazon Detective
  5. AWS Audit Manager
  6. Amazon CloudWatch and Athena

About the workshop trainer

Kriti Gera is a Security Solutions Architect at AWS. She works extensively on tools, artifacts and process automation to ensure that security is baked in rather than bolted on. Kriti works across a spectrum of customers, from startups to enterprises, and is a frequent speaker at AWS and Cloud Security events. Kriti has also authored technical blogs and a whitepaper on Intrusion Kill Chain on AWS.

In-person workshop: This workshop is an in-person event, and will be held on 23 November at AWS Bangalore Office. Register to participate in the event.
