Publicly verifiable voting: a design sketch illustration

We will study the design sketch of a publicly verifiable and strongly software independent voting system as an illustrative example to better understand the issues involved in deploying such systems in large public elections (beyond academic computer science). We will discuss the pros and cons.

We will also discuss the possibilities for public verifiable electronic electoral roles and discuss the benefits and risks.
