Learn how to building rich UI (js heavy) web applications using Knockout.js. To learn better we will integrate with twitter streaming api and integrate with Google maps.
Outline
Connect to twitter using streaming api and pull relevant tweets (you can change this dynamically from the UI) and plot them on the map. Learn how to handle interactivity on one page with minimal js code.
[If you have experience working with JQuery, you would know this would require at least 1000 lines of code; lets see if we can do it in under 50]

During a project while at college, the ones at Twincling gave a really good description of MIT,GPL (lesser and other) BSD and open source in general, I think I might have the IRC log.
Licenses gyaan is needed as tools and framework authoring has become simpler.

Good point. Could be a BoF session if we have some space in the schedule. That looks unlikely though with the number of excellent proposals we've received.
