A peek into building IDE / Development tools on the web using HTML and open standards

Outline

We will look at the UX design, development and architecture considerations in building a fast, light weight web based tool. We will take impressionist - a web based tool that helps you build impress.js presentations visually as the example for this session.

Requirements

A good aptitude for design, working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS.

I am a developer evangelist @ Adobe focusing on web and open standards. I am very passionate about UX design, web, open standards and data visualization. I bring more than a decade of experience building large scale applications for the web using open standards & other.
