Submitted Sep 15, 2015

To talk about and present results of multi-threading Julia through sample workloads.

Outline

Many scientific workloads would benefit from shared memory parallelism on today’s multi-core and many-core systems. This talk will deal with my experiences with the threading infrastructure in Julia, through sample workloads.

Speaker bio

I work for Julia Computing. Previously, I have worked on multi-threaded workloads in Julia at the Parallel Computing Lab, Intel.
