Building high performance web applications using Vuejs

Submitted Jun 15, 2017

No one likes to use an application that takes ages to load, and this problem increases multifold when we talk about users in areas with poor connectivity. That’s why it’s really important for web applications to be optimised in such a way that they perform well and give a seamless user experience, even if the conditions are not optimal. At SocialCops, we went ahead with Vuejs to tackle this problem. This talk will take the audience through how Vuejs can be used to build high performance applications.

Outline

Through this talk, we’ll be taking the audience through some of the features of Vuejs and what it offers to solve the issues at hand.

  • Composing with components
  • Conditional rendering
  • Reactive data binding
  • Mixins
  • Vue router
  • State management using Vuex
  • Server-side rendering
  • Offline use
  • Easy integrations with testing frameworks
