From menstrual health to camel cheese - Hasgeek's interventions

Submitted Dec 10, 2020

I got to know about Hasgeek when our NGO, Jatan Sansthan. Jatan was looking for assistance with regard to hosting a six-part webinar series titled “Menstrual Health: Bharat Darshan.” Hasgeek very kindly hosted the series for us, for which we are very grateful.

The series captured voices of 61 persons from 45 field locations across 17 states. The exercise helped in so many different ways. It empowered many people who spoke for the first time. It helped with networking and captured unheard voices. Most importantly, it gave Jatan Sansthan a chance to listen, to document, then review and reflect on Menstrual Heath Interventions.

Thank you Hasgeek! Please forge ahead with the good work you are doing. We look forward to your support again this coming year!

Some other networking happened as well. On a Hasgeek series “Kilter Cheese Club,” I heard about camel cheese from Kumbalgarh Dairy, located a few hours from Udaipur. I ordered cheese from them, which was great! Subsequently we got in touch with them, and their team came over to Udaipur and spent the morning with our team! It was a great interaction!
