The Fifth Elephant November 2023 meet-up

The venue for the meet-up is published - Tata 1mg, 415/2, 7th floor, Motorola Excellence Centre, Mehrauli-Gurgaon Rd, DLF Colony, Sector 14, Gurugram - 122001. Haryana, IN.

Note that the meet-up will be held on the 7th floor.

Today, Pragun Bhutani will rehearse his talk, at 5:30 PM. If you are a member of The Fifth Elephant community, you can participate in today’s rehearsal.

The meet-up on Saturday will consist of two talks held in the morning + flash talks session. This will be followed by a hands-on workshop on LlamaIndex conducted by Ravi Theja, developer evangelist engineer at LlamaIndex.

Please note that participants have to bring/arrange their own lunch if they are staying back for the workshop. The venue will provide tea/coffee, and drinking water. The Fifth Elephant thanks Tata Img for providing the venue, and community member Anuvrat Parihar, for sourcing the venue.

Women in AI meet-up on 25 November

The Fifth Elephant member, Saraswati Chandra, is hosting the November edition of the Women in AI meet-up. The meet-up is an excellent opportunity for women practitioners to demonstrate their work, and to get feedback from peers. See the updates about the meet-up here.

Open source AI hackathon

If you are using AI to build for solving India-specific challenges, for accessibility, education, creative expression, and such, participate in the Open Source AI hackathon on 9 and 10 December. To particpate, submit the idea you are already working on, or plan to work on at the hackathon. One winner in each category will receive cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000 (one lakh). Five winners will be chosen from the hackathon. Follow the hackathon to hear about jury and mentor announcements, and updates in the category of prizes.
