Putting AI to work inside enterprises

Putting AI into an enterprise means working through security reviews, audits, budget cycles, and systems that other teams depend on. This meet-up, hosted at Mumbai FOSS, is intended for architects, data leaders, risk and security owners, and delivery teams together to examine what it takes to put AI into production.

The Mumbai edition focuses on legacy modernization, data governance, and architectures for deploying AI agents in enterprises. Expect practical discussions grounded in implementation decisions, organizational constraints, measurable outcomes, and lessons from what went wrong.

From Bengaluru to Mumbai

The Bengaluru edition on 19 June 2026 brought 50+ attendees to PhonePe’s office, including senior architects, startup founders, and individual contributors. Well-received talks included Ramanuj Vidyanta’s case for treating AI governance in Indian banks as an engineering problem; Vivek Kalyanarangan of IDfy on taking the GPU out of face matching; Akash Sathish of Sahaj Software on remote-code-execution risks in production MCP servers; and making Generative UI work in production, a lightning talk by Zahle Khan, Founding Engineer at Thesys.

Swetha

When good agents disagreed until we built shared understanding

  • by Swetha Ashok, Solution Consultant at Sahaj Software

A production case study of an enterprise planning assistant used by about 350 people, handling roughly 700 conversations a day. Swetha will explain how a shared semantic layer, explicit disambiguation, structured state, and a clear split between probabilistic and deterministic logic helped coordinate agents—and how the team evaluated the changes and rolled them out.
